When the innovative safety system known as EyeSight was introduced back in 2012, it was the start of a revolution in the automotive industry. It's only been two years since the technology's debut, but there have been numerous stories from Subaru drivers all over the country detailing how EyeSight changed their lives forever, often by saving people from potentially fatal accidents. These stories, which first spread through social media, inspired Subaru to go out and talk face to face with customers about their EyeSight tales. Watch the first episode of Subaru's YouTube series, "Subaru EyeSight Stories," to hear how one woman was saved from driving over a cliff.

About Subaru's EyeSight System
EyeSight not only acts as a second pair of eyes when a driver has lost attention, but also as a foot on the brake that can prevent or mitigate accidents. Its extensive set of driver-assist features includes: Pre-Collision Throttle, Pre-Collision Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Sway Warning and Lane Departure.

Currently, EyeSight is available in several of our most popular new Subaru models, including the 2014 Subaru Forester, Legacy and Outback. When outfitted with Subaru EyeSight, all of these models receive top scores in the IIHS' front-crash prevention tests.
