The Social Security Administration has an annual tradition of pulling baby names that were used at least five times over the prior calendar year and then they publish them for the world to see. Some interesting new monikers were included in the organization's most recent list and Nameberry.com has pulled the most "unusual" new additions to form their own list of "Most Outrageous New Baby Names of 2013." Among them is one that we adore!
Nameberry.com is a website dedicated to providing cool baby name ideas and information regarding baby name trends. Like us, their editors were surprised by some of the new names that appeared on the 2013 SSA list of most popular baby names, including Pemberley and Vanellope for girls, and Kyndle and Vice for boys. There was one name, however, that struck our fancy!
For the first time ever, Subaru was included on the list of boy's names. While some of the other options for boys were unique to say the least, this one stood out to us for obvious reasons. It's an awesome name and even made us wonder if specific models, like the Subaru Legacy or Subaru Forester, will start to pop up on baby name lists one day. We think Legacy would be an interesting name for a girl and Forester would certainly be fitting for a boy!
