Subaru is moving full steam ahead on several projects. In the coming years, they'll be integrating an all-new Subaru Global Platform into their lineup, starting with the 2016 Impreza which arrives at the end of next year. At some point, every model from the Impreza to the Outback will use the new platform, and while there are no details about what changes it will bring about, we're positive that shoppers will be pleased.

Along with the new platform, Subaru is also going to integrate its new generation of engine technology throughout the next few years. And sources say that the automaker has plans to build an all-new seven-passenger crossover SUV, which will get both the new platform and the new engine technology. With the growing popularity of crossover SUVs, Subaru's sure to be all-wheel-drive equipped crossover is likely to carve out a solid spot in the market.

We also heard through the grapevine that Subaru has plans to introduce its first ever plug-in hybrid in 2018. Like the crossover market, hybrid vehicles have also steadily grown in popularity and with the auto industry heading in a more environmentally friendly direction, producing a new plug-in is a smart idea.

As always, we can't wait for the company's new products and technologies to make their way to Van Subaru!
