Subaru gave spectators at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show a healthy dose of eye candy after unveiling the 2016 Subaru VIZIV-7 SUV Concept. As the name suggests, the vehicle is able to accommodate up to seven riders. On the outside, it offers dynamic styling with its modern head- and taillights and crisp, clean lines.
Subaru says the SUV represents what could be next for the automaker – an SUV that offers standout style, peace of mind and much more.
”The concept expresses our core brand values, safety, dependability, capability for outdoor activities and a forward looking attitude,” said Takeshi Tachimori, corporate executive vice president, Fuji Heavy Industries, LTD.
The concept offers three-row seating and is quite lengthy, stretching an overall 204.7 inches long. This makes it a little longer than the Chevy Tahoe. The VIZIV-7’s wheelbase is 117.7 inches in length. No further finite details about the vehicle were made available at the time of this writing.
However, we do know that Subaru plans to introduce a new SUV to the U.S. market in late 2018. In the meantime, please feel free to check out some of our brand-new Subaru models, including the 2017 Subaru Outback, Subaru Impreza and Subaru WRX.
