Subaru Share the Love® Event Returns for 15th Consecutive Year

Subaru is a company that believes in giving back to the community and helping those in need. No other initiative is a finer example of this than Subaru's Share the Love events that have been going strong for 15 years now.

On October 12th, Subaru officially announced that their annual Share the Love event will be back for a fifteenth consecutive year. For the uninitiated, this annual event sees Subaru partner with several large national charities, numerous smaller hometown charities, and countless retailers. Their goal for the latest event is to raise at least $250 million dollars.

This year's event will be conducted in partnership with the ASPCA®, the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, The National Park Foundation, and Meals on Wheels of America. In addition to these charities, Subaru will also be partnering with over 800 smaller local groups from around the nation. Since the first event in 2008, Share the Love has been able to raise over $227 million dollars. Through this program, Subaru has donated to over 1,700 different local charities.

One of the exciting parts of the Share the Love initiative is how Subaru customers can get involved. For every vehicle purchased at one of the 630 participating dealerships, Subaru will don't $250 to a charity picked by the buyer. The buyer can also have an additional $50 sent to two local charities of their choosing. Select dealerships will also be adding $5 to local groups for every regular service visit at their Subaru Service Center.

Subaru's latest Share the Love event will be running from January 3rd, 2023, to November 17th, 2023. The company prides itself on being the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA and a leading advocate for animal rights. They consistently lobby for more humane laws dealing with animal welfare and support numerous local shelters from around the United States. To date, Subaru has helped with the placement of over 150,000 pets into safe and loving homes.
