What's New for the 2018 Subaru Impreza?

The 2018 Subaru Impreza is an excellent choice for the shopper who wants a combination of space, comfort, and value. The Impreza is available as either a two-door hatchback or four-door sedan. If that sounds familiar, here's what you need to know about this solid compact car.

With a redesign in 2017, the Impreza enters the new model year with only minor changes. Most trims are now equipped with headlights that turn on automatically when you engage the windshield wipers.

Trims & Features

The base model of the Impreza is equipped with a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, as well as power windows. The infotainment system is new for 2018 and gets high marks for its sharp graphics and ease of use.

The 2.0i Premium trim adds heated front seats, mirrors, and windshield, along with 16-inch alloy wheels. The 2.0i Sport comes with retuned suspension, improved handling, a flashier exterior treatment, and new 18-inch wheels. Inside, it gets an 8-inch touchscreen and push-button start. The 2.0i Limited has a refined, sophisticated exterior, 17-inch rims, leather upholstery, a power driver's seat, and automatic climate control. Optional features include a moonroof, navigation, and a premium eight-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. With just a small price difference between trims and inexpensive options, a fully loaded 2018 Impreza is a great value for many drivers. All trims are renowned for their spacious interior, outstanding visibility, and focus on driver comfort. With the sedan models, you'll have 12 cubic feet of trunk space, compared with 21 for the hatchback. In fact, the hatchback offers 55 cubic feet of space with the rear seats folded flat.
