Proving the intrinsic value of the Subaru lineup yet again, ALG has awarded three of the brand's models with Residual Value Awards. Taking into account the automaker's 2010, 2011 and 2012 wins, this isn't the first time Subaru has been recognized by ALG, a research division of the company TrueCar, Inc. But this year's wins are important, because three of Subaru's all-new, redesigned models were selected for awards!
ALG's Residual Value Awards are a prestigious honor, prizing vehicles that are predicted to retain the most value over a three-year period compared to their competitors. And high retained value benefits consumers, especially when it comes time to trade in their vehicles for newer models. After all, would you prefer to own a car that you'll get more money back on down the line because it's retained a greater percentage of its original value or one that's expected to significantly depreciate in value?
Subaru's winners this year are the 2015 Legacy (Best Midsize Car), the 2015 Outback (Best Midsize Utility 2 Row) and the 2015 Subaru WRX (Best Sports Car). Completely redesigned for the new model year, the next-generation Legacy, WRX and Outback's updates have proved successful, as exemplified by this and other award wins.
