We know you're all waiting for a chance to test drive the new 2015 Legacy when it arrives at Van Subaru, but until then you can see what Kelley Blue Book thought about the sedan after taking it for a first run! The publication recently got to preview both the 4- and 6-cylinder versions of the car, which has received a complete redesign for the new model year. Highlights include improved fuel economy, enhanced handling, updated electronic features and attractive new styling.

Find out what KBB.com's test driver had to say about the Legacy's changes below!

KBB.com's First Drive
"The Legacy has always earned accolades for its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, but now it's hardly a one-trick pony -- it's a real contender among midsize sedans."

Writer Matt Degen and his wife took the all-new Subaru Legacy on a road trip down the California coast, which gave them an opportunity to experience the sedan's improved handling. They also got to take advantage of the car's increased fuel economy, which Degen called impressive; EPA estimates for the 4-cylinder stand at 36 mpg hwy, while the more powerful 6-cylinder is estimated at 29 mpg hwy, significant increases from last year for both engines. And this is all the more impressive when one considers that Legacy comes standard with an all-wheel-drive system.

Another aspect of the new Legacy that Degen enjoyed was the new touchscreen interface, which will come standard on all 2015 Legacy models. The new, easier to use screen is placed where the center storage compartment used to be and it offers voice controls, Bluetooth connectivity, infotainment management, available navigation and access to live feed from the car's backup camera.
