Technology is king in the automotive sphere and Subaru's acclaimed infotainment and preventative safety systems are pushing boundaries. The XV Crosstrek and XV Crosstrek Hybrid have gained immense popularity thanks to their incredible mix of fuel efficiency, sporty styling and five-passenger utility. Now, they're upping the value quotient for shoppers with the addition of new tech features!
The new 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek is set to arrive in Kansas City this December!
Changes include:
Select XV Crosstrek trims are now available with EyeSight for the first time, following in the footsteps of models like the Subaru Forester and Outback. EyeSight includes a suite of progressive safety technologies, including adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning and more. The industry-praised passenger protection system offers incredible front-crash prevention and has helped Forester and Outback receive IIHS Top Safety Pick+ titles. Now, when equipped with EyeSight, applicable XV Crosstrek models are also expected to receive TSP+ honors.
Two new infotainment interfaces have also been introduced for 2015. XV Crosstrek Hybrid, 2.0i Premium and 2.0i trims come with a new 6.2-inch touch-screen system, while three higher-spec trims -XV Crosstrek Hybrid Touring, 2.0i Premium with EyeSight and 2.0i Limited - come with a 7-inch interface. Both systems feature Subaru's STARLINK smartphone integration, Bluetooth hands-free phone/audio, scroll-and-swipe controls, iPod connectivity and other useful functions.
