Ozark National Scenic Riverways | Van Buren, Eminence, Salem, Winona, MO
Home to hundreds of trails, caves, freshwater springs and historic locations like Alley Mill, Ozark protects two river systems, the Current and Jacks Fork. The site is a great place for boating, swimming, fishing and canoeing.

George Washington Carver National Monument Park | Diamond, MO
At this park, you can take a scenic one-mile self-guided hike, where you'll get to view the Boy Carver statue and 1881 Moses Carver house. Known as the "Plant Doctor" who did miraculous things with peanuts, Carver was tied to nature and today visitors can see the place that inspired him as a child.

Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site | St. Louis, MO
This historic location is home to the site where triumphant Civil War general and two-term president Ulysses S. Grant first met his wife Julie Dent. When they married, the Dents and Grants lived at the home from 1854 to 1859. Tours of the house are offered with reservations.
