When the new 2016 Subaru XV Crosstrek makes it to Kansas City, Missouri in late fall, it’ll show off a wide range of updates. Subaru is unleashing its new STARLINK Connected Services and driver-assist technologies on the Crosstrek, along with new styling and other notable changes! Check out details below.

  • Gas and hybrid models get a new front fascia, which shows off new headlights and a new grille. The hybrid receives a distinctive gloss black finish on its grille.

  • Gas-powered Crosstrek’s get new dark grey 17-inch alloy wheels with machine finish.

  • The Hybrid Touring and 2.0i Limited receive eye-catching new gloss black and silver trim on the dashboard.

  • Nighttime LED illumination has been added to every Crosstrek model on the center console beneath the radio.

  • Hybrid Touring and Limited models will come standard with newly added Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Blind Spot Detection.

  • The Hybrid Touring also adds navigation and subscription-based NavWeather and NavTraffic services through SiriusXM.

  • 2016 Crosstrek 2.0i Limited models receive a CVT as standard for the new model year and gain leather on the steering wheel, shift handle and seats.

  • The Keyless Access with Push Button Start system now comes with Pin Code Access; the system is standard on all hybrids and optional on the Limited.

  • The STARLINK infotainment system can now be upgraded with Connected Services packages. First is the Safety Plus package, which includes vehicle health alerts, SOS emergency assistance and automatic collision notification, among other features. Second, is the Safety Plus & Security Plus package which gets the aforementioned features and adds remote lock/unlock/horns/lights, vehicle security alarm notification, a remote vehicle locator and stolen vehicle recovery service.
