Get in touch with your inner Irish at the 45th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Kansas City. Drawing an estimated 200,000 people, the gathering is the centerpiece of our city’s tribute to Irish culture on March 17.
Floats, drill teams, bagpipe players and a variety of other show stoppers will begin rolling through the streets at Linwood and Broadway at 11 a.m. and will move south along Broadway to 43rd Street. The party doesn’t stop at 1 p.m. when the parade ends either, as numerous restaurants and pubs will be serving up delicious Irish-style food and, of course, green brews from around the world.
