Subaru Solterra EV Gains Easier Access to Tesla Supercharging Network

On October 22, 2025, Subaru of America announced that Solterra EV owners can now enjoy easier access to the Tesla Supercharging network, which includes more than 25,000 Supercharger stations across North America. This enhanced access is made possible through the SubaruConnect app, allowing drivers of the 2026 Subaru Solterra EV to charge their vehicles using the app’s “Plug & Charge” feature. With this functionality, Supercharging stations automatically recognize the vehicle and begin charging without any additional steps.

The 2026 Subaru Solterra comes equipped with a built-in North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, ensuring full compatibility with Tesla Superchargers. Owners of 2023–2025 Solterra models can also purchase a Genuine Subaru Accessory Fast Charging Adapter, expanding their access to a broader selection of DC fast-charging stations.

Through the SubaruConnect app, Solterra owners can manage payment methods for charging and locate nearby stations using the Find Stations Map. Additionally, 2026 Solterra drivers can take advantage of automatic battery preconditioning when using a DC fast charger. This feature allows the vehicle to reach an 80% charge in approximately 28 minutes, even in colder temperatures.

With an EPA-estimated range of up to 288 miles, the 2026 Subaru Solterra EV is available nationwide. To learn more about the 2026 Solterra or explore other Subaru models, visit Van Subaru to browse inventory or schedule a test drive.
