What's New For the 2022 Subaru Forester?

You'll notice that the exterior of the 2022 Subaru Forester is a little different this year, thanks to different front headlamps and an updated front grille. The wheel design is also new, giving the Forester a nice refresh for 2022. Subaru has also added the Wilderness trim level to its lineup for the Forester, providing better ground clearance and a rugged appearance package. On the vehicle's interior, you'll find new climate controls and a panoramic sunroof as a standard feature for all models except the base-level model. You can take advantage of the EyeSight package, which includes upgraded safety features like upgraded camera sensors. All of the Forester trim levels now come with a torque vectoring system and SI-Drive Mode. An electronic parking brake is also included.

2022 Subaru Forester Trims & Features

There are six trim levels available for the 2022 Subaru Forester. This includes the Base model, followed by the Premium, Sport, Limited, Wilderness, and Touring. If you're looking for something high-end and fancy, we recommend the Touring and the Limited. The Wilderness is upgraded, but it is a bit more rugged. You'll find 17-inch wheels, an upgraded spoiler, body-color mirrors, a power-controlled 10-way driver's seat, and a six-speaker audio sound system on the higher trim levels.

2022 Subaru Forester Horsepower

If power and performance are what you're after, you should be happy with the 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that provides 182 horsepower along with a towing capacity of 1500 pounds. Standard is a continuously variable transmission and all-wheel drive system.

Plenty of standard safety features are included in all of the trim levels for the 2022 Forester, including automatic emergency braking.
