What's New for the 2024 Subaru Outback?
The already stylish Subaru Outback has a few changes to its exterior design in 2024. Drivers who choose the Wilderness trim level get a larger front grille to show off, plus LED fog lights. The Onyx and Wilderness versions of the Outback are now home to a 360-degree heated steering wheel, and the Onyx Edition also gains a power moonroof.
What Are the 2024 Outback Trims &smp; Features?
There are nine trim levels available for the 2024 Subaru Outback, making it easy to find the right fit for any driver's needs. The base model includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch touchscreen, and automatic climate control. Choosing the Premium model will mean gaining a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat and upgrading to an 11.6-inch screen for the infotainment system.
Heated rear seats and leather-trimmed upholstery are among the upgrades made by the Outback Limited. As for the Onyx Edition, it shows off unique exterior accents and gains an eight-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. The Wilderness trim is perfect for off-road enthusiasts, thanks to its extra ground clearance and all-terrain tires. The top Outback Touring gains ventilated front seats and power-folding side mirrors for even more luxury.
There are XT versions of the Onyx Edition, Limited, and Touring models. They have the same features but a larger engine underneath the hood.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 Outback Have?
Speaking of engines, it is important to know that there are two options for the Outback in 2024. The standard setup is a 2.5L four-cylinder that generates 182 horsepower. If drivers bring home an XT model, they will get a turbocharged 2.5L that makes 260 horsepower instead. Both of these engines work nicely with a continuously variable transmission, and all-wheel drive available on every trim level.
What Safety Features Does the 2024 Outback Include?
It is easy to feel confident when driving the 2024 Outback, thanks partly to standard features like forward-collision mitigation and adaptive cruise control. Lane-keeping assist is also included on all models. On select versions of the Outback, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also included.
